This 3-day class is designed for personnel responsible for performing periodic/annual inspections of overhead cranes and hoists. Students will learn how to conduct and document the inspection in compliance with OSHA Regulations, ASME Standards, and CMAA Trade Association. Training is a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on inspection to ensure maximum learning benefit is achieved.

Each student will receive:
- Overhead Crane Inspector Manual with standards, references, applications, inspection criteria, photos, and inspection items discussed
- Sling and rigging hardware flip charts/cards
- Recommended inspection tools necessary to fulfill inspection criteria
- Student instruction/hands-on inspection demonstration
- Use of handouts, OSHA/ASME/CMAA standards, and regulations
All attendees will receive a Course Completion Certificate
Note: Certification requires passing a (50) fifty-question multiple choice examination. Those successfully completing the exam with a 75% score will receive a laminated “Overhead Crane Inspection Certification Card”.
